My father’s murder in the streets of Baltimore during the 1960's
would forever change the course of my life.
This tragedy forced my family to move into the Baltimore City
Projects, where I would live for the next 20 years. The move to Cherry Hill
Homes changed the narrative of my family's life forever. It left my mother as a
single parent of three elementary school aged children, profoundly changing our quality of life. It took time to adjust to living in the projects, but
eventually it became home to me, my place of safety. I spent my entire
childhood living in Cherry Hill Homes.
When African Americans say “It takes a
village” to raise a family, that is a very true statement.
I wouldn't have survived the streets of Baltimore City if not for that village. The
“village” was my saving grace.
Crime, drugs, poverty, sex, teen pregnancy, etc., all exist in the projects. People living in poverty are average, normal people with talent, skill, knowledge, and dreams. Yet, inner city crime, poverty, educational disparities, hunger, and lack of opportunities destroy many of their lives. Many of my friends and family were killed in Baltimore Streets.
I made a promise to myself at a very young age that not only would I dig my way out of poverty, I would focus on empowering young people in Baltimore Communities with knowledge and leadership skills using my experience as a Master Life Coach.
In 2017 I started the journey to build a foundation. In 2019, I was able to begin
the fulfillment of my dream, Tomorrow s’ Promise Foundation Inc.
We believe every person desires to live a quality life.
Our purpose is to unlock the power of imagination, break boundaries, and open new
possibilities for our people, our families, and our
communities. We are stronger together!
Tomorrow's Promise creates tools and programs to inspire human connection with young children, teens, and young professionals to increase their productivity.
Our foundation is built on a strong belief that respect, coaching, leadership
development, and the application of real-life solutions will help develop our
young people into strong productive adults. Our techniques and programs
are the missing pieces of a puzzle, a bridge for parents, kids, teens, young adults, teachers, mentors, leaders, and families to attain complete success together.
Inner City problems are everyone’s problems.

Tomorrow's Promise Foundation Inc. is a non-profit organization 501c3 founded in 2017.
Our mission is to transform lives to bring the very best You out.
We empower and assist families as a community-based outreach program designed to provide necessary resources and services to decrease and/or remove barriers that influence professional and social dysfunction.
Our Coaches mentor teens & tweens to develop habits, skills and mindsets they need for success, giving them the tools to become leaders in their community.
